Review: Badger Cuticle Care Soothing Shea Butter

This butter is the balm!

I am a fan of all cuticle creams, because they all seem to get the job done, which is to moisturize dry cuticles. It makes them look presentable in nail photos! One of the most popular kinds is Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream, which I have used forever (and will review some other time), but THIS just replaced it as my favey-fave.

Badger Cuticle Care is certified organic, which means you aren’t polluting the planet or filling your blood stream with toxins. It smells like fresh lemongrass, and the scent fades after it is rubbed into the skin. People seem to notice it upon application though (“What’s that lemon smell?”) so keep that in mind, if you are sensitive to fragrance.

The best part is its texture. When you dip your finger into the tin it doesn’t feel like rubbing on a crayon (a characteristic of other solid cuticle balms) so you don’t have to work hard to get the product on your fingers. It feels at once gritty and soft, and a little dab will do ya, because it works instantly. Soothing is the word! I keep it in my purse for easy application during my commute. No greasy after feel.

I found my balm at Bed Bath & Beyond but you can go to to order online or find a retailer close to you.

What nail care product are you in love with today? Let me know in the comments!
